Refund & Cancellation Policy

Governing Law: Republic of Panama

1. No Refunds (Legal Services)

Under Panamanian Civil Code (Article 1074) and professional service standards:

  • All fees are final and non-refundable once work begins.
  • Sole exception: Cancellation before any work commences (e.g., prior to first consultation/research).

2. Cancellation Terms

  • Valid cancellation: Must be requested in writing (email to legal@fischer-cie.com) within 24 hours of payment AND before any work starts.
  • Partial refund: 80% of payment if canceled after 24 hours but before work begins (20% covers administrative costs).

3. Dispute Resolution

For alleged service errors:

  2. Required documentation:
    – Signed contract copy
    – Detailed description of alleged error
  3. We resolve within 10 business days (with written report if refund is approved).

4. Legal Compliance

  • Law 45 of 2007 (Panama Consumer Protection): Exempts professional services.
  • Commerce Code (Article 361): Validates electronic contracts.
