Requirements for Main Applicants
To apply for the Friendly Nations Visa, main applicants must provide:
- Valid passport (with more than 6 months validity)
- Second form of photo identification (national ID or driver’s license)
- 8 passport photos
- Clean criminal record (apostilled) from the home country or country of residence for the past 2 years
- Power of attorney
- Declaration forms
- Health certificate issued by a Panamanian doctor
- Proof of eligibility:
- Purchase titled property valued at $200,000 or more
- Deposit $200,000 into a Panama bank as a fixed term deposit for a minimum of 3 years
- Valid employment contract from a registered Panamanian business with a minimum salary of $1000 per month
- Certified checks: $800 for the National Immigration Service, $250 for the National Treasury
Dependents
Spouses and children of the main applicant must also meet specific requirements, including presenting marriage certificates (apostilled) and unabridged birth certificates (apostilled) respectively.
Application Process
- Initial process grants temporary residency, followed by provisional residency in 3-6 months.
- Provisional residency is valid for 2 years.
- Permanent residency application after the provisional residency period.
- Immigration reviews to ensure requirements are met.
